Nope, at least to me. What I wanted to say is, one of the reason Athlon can clock faster than PIII is that it is a much modern design than PIII so even using the same process, it should be able to clock higher and given that the copper based Athlon is only 20% higher in clock speed than PIII, I don't consider the gain to be that much. BTW, is copper supposed to consume less power too ?
