midnite:
Company after company is throwing every bad credit card debt
The type of networking devices (xDSL endpoints and routers) that CSCO planned as next hypergrowth area are starting to be considered as writeoffs to bankrupt entities such as Northpoint. Rythms, Covad, DSLnet, Harvardnet and any other company with a $100 M credit line from CSCO are not far behind.
Even though things at CSCO appear much different from LU and their ASEND async access products sold to every ISP in 1999 to support 56K dialup lines; things are probably going to be looking at lot worse before they get better at CSCO.

Hi captain - I guess I was wrong, CSCO didn't throw enough dirty laundry into the basket... It will hurt tech in general and the supply chain in particular

best, Bosco
