Tell it to Compaq, HP and the other big OEMs that are developing some pretty serious servers around McKinley. Are they in the habit of throwing many man, make it person-years at a development project just for kicks? No.. wouldn't suggest that. Didn't suggest serious engineering isn't going into McKinley servers. I cut and pasted your reply and suggested when comparing McKinley to Power4, McKinley is a toy in comparison. Therefore, if McKinley were to "eat into" RS/6000 servers, I wouldn't know where that erosion would come from. Perhaps low-end marginal players... but that's just a guess. Rob
