Have fun and stay safe, Bob!

Bob,

You have a great attitude towards this event in your life, and you do not need any words of consolation. Wish you all the best in your future endeavors. Regard this as a new career opportunity.

Oh, Bob, maybe this is a INSP ploy to get this thread to #1 on the Top 10 Stock List.....HOPE WALL STREET IS LISTENING TO THIS .....

And WE need a SI community....maybe some of this SI community can get those wagon wheelers and oxen ready, so we can bundle up and move on out to where ever the new site will be.....

This is a large community, and a VERY valuable one....at the very least to the participants, and the many people whom I believe, read, even if they don't post.

None of us want to be like RB or Y.....or we would be there and not here. There is power in groups....and this is a large group.

So hopefully, while all of us are gathering up our belongings, and getting ready to move in unison....there will be a place where we can go. Do we all feel like orphans yet?

Hey Bob,

Just wanted to wish you good luck in your new adventures. Sad to see SI losing you - I always thought you were fair.

Good Luck

Salutes to you Bob, you’re the "real dude" amongst the corporate wankers that came in to mess up what was working fine in 1997 to 1999.

It wasn't broken but some big cheese apparently decided it needed fixing.

Consider your offers wisely---- Add one Bob Zumbrumman, (The man formerly know as SI Bob) to the mix and you have a world class, production volume worthy message boards, and linked internet portal. Stock in that is a “buy”

Remember sound business and technical principles are not proprietary. Using what you learned about General Accepted Programming Skills is all good too. Did they patent the process---I think not.

Good luck. Its a sad day when Silicon Investor fires its online personality. But hey IBM let MSFT make and own the operating system. Nothing ya can do.

Cheers
Wolff

Former Admin, sir,

I suspect that JDN (http://www.siliconinvestor.com/profile.aspx?userid=3571578) has already contacted you but, if not, then you *must* reach him to be educated in the care and polishing of 4-wheeler's. Just be prepared to shell out a few simoleans for the power tools.

Your servant,
