I agree with Spirit,

Everyone, please take time and double check the realtime price of a security before posting any moves it's making. This is a quality thread and we don't want incorrect information posted here. I understand that stocks can change direction very quickly, but you can also edit your messages for 15 minutes after posting them, so please take time and add an EDIT section to your messages for updates if needed.

Thanks,
Pierre

I noted that SUNW fell off the cliff as it dipped nearly 10 percent in 30 minutes immediately during and folowing the company's conference call with anaylsts.

SUNW is dead money for the next quarter. Buy into that dip all you want - as goes the old saying, a fool and his money are soon parted <gg>

From briefing.com - 14:02 ET Sun Microsystems (SUNW) 27 13/16 -1/16 (-0.2%): -- Update -- Merrill Lynch comments on SUNW analyst meeting; says slowdown in the US is continuing; firm expects stock to mark time near term until there is more visibility, as ability to gain share is not enough.

BTW - if you did buy the dip on the rebound, you are likely in the red right now, B/e at best if your timing was perfect:

May be no surprises left (although I doubt that as AMCC showed today) - but also no near term drivers to move many of these prices higher. Much better opportunities IMO
