hi gottfried re, "I don't think SI will disappear" i really don't have a sense for whether i agree with you or not. if si were to go away, i'd get by knowing that i adapt well to change and that i tend to be thankful for having had a chance to experience something, as opposed to pinning for it when it's gone. and i clearly like to run my life the way i run my computers... with preventative maintenance and auxiliary plans. so the ms cl thread has made me feel very good today. :) mark
