You seem to like the $17.50 price point. Why not just go
buy the stocks that are *already $17.50 instead of waiting?
That could be a winning strategy, who knows. There could be
a book deal. You might be on CNBC.

Try it. Do a screen. Call the broker. Make it happen.
Otherwise Ken, you'll just go around for the rest of your
life complaining, "I coulda bought that one at $17.50 (and
that one and that one...".

Wow Ken, that one I just had to print out and tack up on my cork board. Let's see how you do. You could be right, since despite all the forced-sounding happy talk lately I believe my dog could crap a better underlying tone than this market has. But barring a war or natural catastrophe, I think your numbers are a little on the zany side.
