RE: "If I said I designed a couple jet engines wouldn't you like to know which ones in case you were riding on a plane that used one so you could say.."hey, I know the guy that designed that engine".

Hi Jim,

I worked on the Boeing 747-400 power flight automation controls for take off and landing when I was an undergrad. One time, when I was on an airplane flight, the person sitting next to me asked me what type of job I had. He asked me just as we were taking off!

RE: "Someone says they designed some chips. Someone asks which ones."

But that's not how your post sounded to me.

I perceived you were calling him a liar when you said to him, "yeah right" in response to his post where he said he designed chips. Maybe I misunderstood your post, but this is how it came across to me.

Sorry, but I will not PM you re: your question because that wouldn't be right.

Regards,
Amy J
