Poll Question:

The Nasdaq Composite index ended 2000 down almost 40 per cent from the start of the year and 50 per cent off its peak in March, when investors’ enthusiasm for technology, media and telecoms stocks pushed the index up to 5,048.62.
The outlook for this year is not any less volatile. On the first day of trade in the new year, Nasdaq closed more than 7 per cent lower, and the Federal Reserve’s 50-basis-point rate cut on January 3 lends credence to a perception that the US economy is heading for a harder landing than previously thought.

What do you think are the prospects for the Nasdaq? Where will the index end 2001?
