Which countries have sent missiles in our direction during the last 30 years when we have not had a star wars defense?

Also I am not supporting an open ended, as much as it takes for ever and ever commitment to missile defense.

Assuming that you, like me, don't know of any missiles hitting US soil in the last 30 years, why do we need to increase military spending? Why do we need star wars?

BTW when I refer to phantom...I meant phantom as in enemy, not missiles.
