SO's post of $35 seemed as goofy a year ago as $12 does today. Now look where we are.

Debate is one thing, taunting is another.

Care to post some of your own "valuating"?

John.

Finished goods inventories dropped. Raw materials went up slightly.

Some parts suppliers are gonna get hit but they are still facing shortages of some critical components.

They don't break down the parts mix.

Addi, I am not sure who YOU are, but I was once one of the top 10 bookmarked individuals on Silicon Investor, and quoted in many periodicals such as the New York Times (I am in CBS Marketwatch today by the way). I had spent countless hours and many tens of posts debating my targets and I am not about to waste my time and search for the links of the most relevant ones at this time for YOU.

By the way, I don't read Barrons.

Hey Addi ,

Remember me?? :_} Remember LSI many years ago when it went down to pre split $ 13. You used to think I was an idiot for predicting the fall from grace of that stock, but I was correct. In the most simple terms the p/e that is acceptable to these "growth stocks" should be about equal to its estimated growth rate. So that can put CSCO in the mid teens range. That assumes a 30 % growth rate. Stocks like JDSU , CIEN , CSCO , JNPR, etc etc , are still very overvalued , especially considering the market conditions.
But then these are also MO Mo stocks so the growth - p/e assumption does not really mean that much . I day Trade CSCO quite often , its one of my favorites , and I love to short it. But then my trades only last at the most an hour :_}
