Whew! You can probably hear that sigh of relief all the way from Boston.

Frank,

<< be reassured that we do have a backup plan >>

Good start.

One comment:

I don't think we'll be shut down. As a long time net denizen and early beta tester of national ISP's dating back to 94 (several didn't make the cut so contingency plans are old hat <g>), and user of the Internet under shell accounts since the mid eighties, I think there will be an orderly transfer of Stock Talk to another INSF site, or at bare minimum we'll have some notice. The font change relates to transportability.

Contingency plans are in order, however.

I have three suggestions for your Knights to explore.

1.) Motley Fool - Several of us are members and post there. There is a GG thread there. All can register for Fool. Merlin, tekboy, adrethan, and Bruce Brown can give tips. I am InCards at that sight, and many go by there user name here.

2.) Threaded Usenet NewsGroups - one can be started and accessed through your Browsers Newsgroup Reader, or Free agent or Agent. One of the Knights could and should set one up.

3.) Both of the above.

- Eric -
