OK, what i wanted to say was :

I am not sure its fair to look too much into this. I remember in 1997/98 (during kurlak era), Intel stock was about 30-35% from its peak and Andy Grove had exercised his options. In the next 6 months Intel doubled and split 3 times in next 4 years. So, I am not sure there is any ulterior motives behind all these sells.

However, I can see that it may create a negative perception among investors. But when emotions and pain level is high, Investors will point to Barrett (or any other CEO or Greenspan!) or anyone they can get hold of.
