<<You mean shorting PMCS? That might be the worst short at this point.
Just my opinion but I would cover that one.

I listened to the Cisco cc and my conclusion is that they are no longer cancelling or pushing out orders. I could be mistaken but that seems to be what I heard. >>

Heck, I heard Chambers reaffirm 2001 numbers not long ago, never mind the last Q !! Who are these dudes lying to - just the bulls ?? Believe anything you want to believe, t2.

What a load of deer scat.
Victor

You mean they are no longer order new products???

Haaha... PMCS is going to 30-40s... without new orders (CSCO inventory in both raw and finished goods were up) PMCS will have further revenue decline in the quarter after the current one...s o from 270, to 140, to 40million in revenues???? er... i think that's shortable ;)

Cisco action today only confirms that it has botttomed out.
Also look at all the semiconductor stocks in the face of downgrades or negative comments. The stocks held up and more importantly the high PE, high fliers did great.
Just look at PMCS; that is one amazing company people got at incredibly low prices today. What a steal of a deal; thanks to the election.

The news from PWER about Cisco's demands getting higher of them only confirms the incredible growth.

I don't think you can call today's low a steal just yet. Maybe, but not a certain.
I think if one has a more than 3 month time horizon, PMCS today was the deal of the day. Shorter term, you can probably trade it but beware of mutual fund accumulations--they have a much longer time horizon.
