INSP is toast. Bob is gone, and SI isn't far behind. It will be nifty if Jain sells it to Yahoo for $50 to double his revenue for the quarter.<g>.

It's a hard business model to make work. People have to pay and, for a variety of financial and psychological reasons, they'll only pay in a bull (or bubble) market. It's too bad, because how many other web sites do you of know that are as good as SI? Yahoo and Raging Bull too stupid, Motley Fool too boring. SI, with its mix of hot-shot traders and knowledgable investors kept in some semblance of order by Sky Marshall Bob & co., was just right.

But maybe I'm just being a chicken little.

Dear Lynn: Well, theres your answer, they no longer give a damn about Consumer business. I think they will come to find that at one time they had the BEST financial chat site and the people that frequented these threads often were decision makers in other business's. But, I imagin SI is run by people who do not understand INTERLOCKING relationships. JDN
