TGP, Apparently NYC has undertaken a massive project to build a new aqueduct from the Catskills to solve the problem...in fact, its probably done by now Yes, it is functional now. One thing I found amazing was that this, the third aqueduct took much longer to complete (someting like 30 years) that the first 2, which were build with less sophisticated technlogy decades ago, I believe the first on around the turn of the century (19/20). I bet they didn't have unions back then. Joe
