strbe Re..minimal? Your definition of minimal and mine must be a lot different... that part of the report shocks me - pesticide problems, over usage of the natural water supply.. greater area affected then claimed.. its appalling<<<<

Going from 8000 sq acres to 12000 sq acres is small when you consider that Anwar is 15.8 million sq acres. Pesticide problems? Finding one flourescent bear is hardly evidence of a wholescale pesticide problem. Overusage of the natural water supply. What is that all about. Did the caribou's wells run dry. That is such a broad statement, that could mean me taking a bath in the lake.

I predict that there will not be enough support to let this boondoggle go thru

LOL And I predict that Scumbria, if he still lived in CA.; after a yr or two of doubling electric and gas prices and rolling blackouts, would be leading the charge in one of his SUVs to develop Anwar.

Scott,

Bottom line tho: you still need to run a pipeline thru Canada.. definitely for the natural gas - if not the oil.

maybe we give Western Canada an offer they can't refuse - to secede from Canada and join the US. I bet they are sick and tired of the pinko commies in Ontario, the Francophones and the welfare addicted Atlantic provinces.
