Poet, I'm probably not in as much pain as you, as I decided to only buy 1/2 as many QQQ Feb. 61 calls as I owned in QQQ Feb. 61 puts.

I figured I had a 2 out of 3 chance that CSCO would disappoint somehow. If earnings were met, they disappoint by not beating by a penny. They could still fall short on revenue even if they beat the street. They could also fall short on forward guidance.

I figured they'd meet the street and give scary forward guidance.

Chambers has been breaking worse news an average of once every 2-weeks or so for the last 2-months. He was due.

Good luck tomorrow. I'm closing out my QQQ 61 calls tomorrow and repositioning possibly Monday.

I came this close to getting some of those NDX puts near the close today. But of course...didn't. Too worried I wouldn't be able to track them & also those spreads! Yuck.
