might be cheaper to just pay the marketers directly rather than going through the utilities, or the utilities rather than going through the state ... might be some transmission losses On another note NPR had a spot on fuel cells tonight -- never heard a more misleading story -- well, maybe it wasn't that bad but it sure left the impression that fuel cells are more economical than combustion turbines ... what a bunch of hooey ...
