This time it was the opposite...most believed the numbers were going to be poor and the stock would trade higher. So not as many shorts in csco I would expect. Also, many dip buyers thinking they were wise gambled and bought in. Now the numbers are truly terrible and the stock is sliding. They will try to bounce it here and there but I would expect it will see the high $20's off this move.

Another fact: When everyone assumes a stock is going down. often it doesn't. Why? Because negativity peaks are by definition the bottom.

Vice versa also. Maybe you should point out that Investor's Intelligence is at its highest Bullish reading since 1987?

This board clearly does not represent the market sentiment.
