I have met some wonderful people on SI. I've even gone on vacation with them, but to explain to an outsider that you've met someone on the internet, and become close friends, makes them a little suspicious of your sanity. The good thing about SI is that most of the posters are a cut above the average Joe six pack. They are very intelligent people who come together for a common cause...to make money. This is much harder than it was just a while ago. It sounds like you had a good time at your meeting, but you forgot to invite me! As for Vendit's abandoning us, we all may be joining him if SI ever shuts down! Good luck on your new house...

Hi Spreck, Had a great time despite the recent market gloom raining on our picnic a bit, and keeping a lid on attendance. I'm looking forward to having one of these during a market rally---your new home might not be big enough to hold us all <ggg> You asked about the origins of my AKA...... dug up this old post, after Ray Duray asked me the same thing, then PM'd me his takeoff on the Macbeth speech, and dared me to post it on the BRCM thread, which he felt needed some shaking up.
