Your color guns are fine. I didn't highlight Idaho's absence from the dereg mess b/c my not very artfully drafted point was that dereg is a mess for the entire country (regardless of the regs in effect in a particular state).

One of my favorite "effects" of deregulation will be the mountains of nuclear waste shipped into my fair state. DOE made a sweetheart deal with eastern nuke powerplants to take the waste "off of their hands" which, thanks to a great deal struck by Idaho's then governor, means that the waste will end up here, in Yucca Mtn, and WIPP, NM. And, if DOE can't make its timeline for managing shipments, the feds. will end up PAYING the eastern power companies fines per the contracts. I feel a profanity laced tirade coming, so I'd best close here. You didn't miss anything in my prior email. I think that most of us will "miss" the positives of deregulation.
