puberty as early as 8 yrs old my 7th grader was french kissing last year - she told us she didn't like it at first but got used to it - i didn't know what a period was until 8th grade and even then not sure - that's what we get for treating them like adults: make you own lunch for school, get your own breakfast, get to the bus yourself, set the alarm and get up for school yourself 'cause we're gone to work already, find a ride to practice, etc....
