After reading that account, I have more respect for Gore. When he hitched his wagon to President and Senator Evil, he wrote his own exit ticket. Good for him that he sees and confronted the error of his ways.

Al Gore also would not have become VP and had access to the White House and all the power that it wields had it not been for Clinton...each man stands on his own merits and guilt by association not in play here in my view...the American public is smart enough to realize that...I do fault Clinton for not being more public about his support for Gore and believe that this may have hurt him...in either case, its "in the past" and Gore will simply have to prove em all wrong after getting his due when America tires of the Bush debacle currently in play.
