Alcatel: gravitational course but not of short-term
revalorization

Recommendation To buy

Author Angela Dean
Establishment Morgan Stanley

Alcatel which has published its annual results and has just confirmed its prospects for
growth for 2001, has with the current course a potential of appreciation of 35%.

Such is the opinion of Angela Dean, the analyst who follows the value with his team
at Morgan Stanley Dean Witter and for which the valorization of the French
equipment supplier arises with 85 euros per title. It specifies that this level
corresponds at a EP 2002 of 31,9 and with an annual growth of the results of about
25% over the 5 next years. Within sight of the prospects announced by the group
during the publication of the results, this objective seems to him completely realizable.

If it estimates that the current course constitutes a gravitational level of valorization, it
also underlines that it does not see a short-term element likely to contribute to an
accelerated revalorization of the title. On the whole, it reiterates its recommendation '
surperformance' on the value with an objective of medium-term course of 85 euros.

I am free lancer working for an agent in the UK. Presently working for Siemens in the Czech republic for mobile project. I am not a Siemens employee.

My problem is not ALA -Hey they have my CV in France, you knew that?) My problem is the ADSL smoke screen.
