of course...they have ALREADY DONE IT...they are now short 15 million 0z. ! they produce about 34 million oz. in 5 years, so they're already close to the 15% mark.

and yes, they are schemers...always have been.

Ike, This is the old half full or half empty argument which I considered half full. If they are ONLY hedging 50% of their production, they must be awfully bullish about gold. That means they are naked longs on 50% of what is one huge amount of production. I think the CEO is saying he is bullish enough to put his job on the line.
