That means the ceiling for FICA tax goes up by 6.6% while SS benefits go up by 3.0%. Pretty soon, the first $ 100,000 will be subject to FICA tax. Also, the income tax bracket is indexed by 3.0%. Ain't it great how you're protected against inflation.
