Mark, if Naz (and that's a big if) is able to reach 3000 again, could we have then a nice reverse H&S pattern ?

<< However, if 47 doesn't hold on the XAU, I will change my opinion on gold stocks... >>

I hate to ask the obvious, but with XAU closing at 46.37, is there any short-term hope for the XAU?

Could we at least get a bounce to 53 so I can unload a couple positions at a small profit? Please? <GGG>

The Naz looks ready to crash and perhaps pull the Dow and SP500 with it. (My puts hope so, anyway.) If the market craters (Naz down to ~2300 or below and other markets down 5 - 10%), would this help the XAU with influxes of investment dollars, or would the XAU drop with it?

Is there any chance that today's close in both POG and XAU could be capitulation?

XAU broke 47 yesterday, but closed above 47.5. Today is only one day closing below 47, so I take it a close above 47 (preferably above 47.5 or 47.75) would negate the break and give us a chance to salvage your positive outlook. Am I right?

Today's close was either the best buying opportunity or the Alarm warning all gold bulls to exit the building quickly. I am hoping it is not the latter.

My shorts are more than making up for my gold losses, but I wish that stupid golden calf would show up soon so that I can take some XAU profits for a change! <GGG>

Take care, Mark.

Best wishes - HB
