cyberman, staying away from telecom stocks right now is
a very bad idea. They have been the hardest hit and are
a screaming buy right now.
Especially NT, GLW, ALA...and so many more...
This sector I think will outperform the next 12 months.

Today IS the day to go long on AMCC and VTSS

By the way, I don't care what the longs on this board say, CSCO dissapointing is not good for a nervous market or JDSU in the short-term. Its just going to make gun-shy tech investors stay away from networking/tech stocks and subsequently optical stocks also. I am not saying it is right or wrong, this is just my opinion.

You may be right and yet if the market manages to hold up in spite of Cisco's guidance, it will have passed a mighty big test. It will also mean Cisco is no longer the leader.

I'm nervous and I suspect others are too.
