Look at it as it was a split without all those erosive extra shares. Nothing goes straight up forever. And this company has plenty of Jack in the till (not like jack and jill went down the hill never to return to the well)
To fetch a pail of water. The well ain't dry yet.

Hi bambs,

It looks like the Crisco kid wants $29.xx a little sooner than I expected.

The finances at Crisco looked a lot worse than even I expected. I didn't expect this kind of damage until maybe 2 quarters from now. Next Q is definitely going to be a rough one the way they set themselves up, combined with the time of year.

you can't just look at bottom line earnings either. that's comparing apples to oranges. that's why most analysts take out acquisition costs. especially if an acquisition was a non-cash acquisition like most of Cisco's you have to use proforma earnings to get a clear picture of what's happening.

When you use proforma, you get a 48% increase this quarter over last year's quarter. If you translate that to PE, the stock should still be trading at a healthy level.
