Does the fact that my system works perfectly give you any clue as to what the future holds?

Sure. Pioneer Electronics tried to make the Laser Disc successful. No one else ever supported it, and it ultimately failed. (In fact, I believe I heard that the first year or two of DVD sales eclipsed the lifetime sales of Laser DIsc players, if I remember correctly)

Sony tried to make the Beta format a standard for home VCRs, but got a late start and never built up the momentum that VHS built. At best, Beta has remained a niche product.

The list goes on and on. Not every product that works is successful. When you'd like to understand more about the business world, call me.

p.s. I take it you still haven't found any major vendors higher than 11th place on the market share list who's building DDR-based systems.

p.p.s. You're still into promises of the "future", hmmm? Your lack of a response about the past is telling me that you agree with the statement that the DDR launch has been a failure so far. The silence is deafening.
