Like pouring water on a hillside, it will run to the lowest points all the way along. In this sense, it matters not where the new money goes -- no doubt it will just find homes in the places where the faltering bubble needs it most. To me, this is part of the most salient feature of a late-stage bubble: capital no longer knows how to go to where it is needed to sensibly drive growth/profit. Rate cuts and easier credit punches spending, but on what? Factory upgrades and the like? Nope, a good chunk of it goes directly into the casino and then onto money heaven via wealth transfer.

Narrowing yield spreads means they are getting money more easily, but I seriously question what the money is being used for.
