Tom,

I remember that Dr. J comment too, but recall it had to with 1X chips. Dr. J stated he felt we would see early take up of 1X handsets by the operators so when they finally got around to upgrading the infra, the phones would be in consumers hands, ready to utilize the additional capabilities once the infra was lit up.
