You have a short memory. Clinton-Gore based their entire 1992 campaign on lying about the economy, which was growing smartly all through 1992. They lied, saying it was "the worst economy in 50 years".

But you decry Bush for telling the truth about an economy in decline. That makes you a true Democrat - embracing the lie while denying the truth.
