John, I think the tower was changed to Williams about 3 years ago, but I don't know for sure. I only noticed when they were asking to give blood and they said to go to Williams Tower. They showed a picture on tv and I said, "that looks just like Transco." <g>

I have heard the name "Best of America," but that is all. I have never been a big fan of annuities. Due to the combo of insurance and investments, their expenses and sometimes their fees are very high. However, they do have the advantage of accumulating tax free. And the fact that I don't consider the insurance worth paying for in my own circumstances does not mean that somebody else won't. I would recommend that you compare fees and expenses to the annuities offered by Vanguard before buying anything. Vanguard is famous for being relatively low fee.
