Correction:
The Zogby poll actually showed that the most admired man in America was former Treasury Secretary Donald Reagan. "Any man who can stand up to Nancy's astrologer is alright with me" said former White House Chief of Staff James Baker. White House counsel Karen Hughes was found stuffing poll numbers into the Zogby shoebox, when asked to comment she said "Jeb and I are just good friends".

Oh Boy!, you're gonna wish you never spoke to me about the Gallup polls...as of YESTERDAY, Gallup indicates that BUSH HAD THE HIGHEST DISAPPROVAL RATING OF ANY PRESIDENT IN THE HISTORY OF POLLING (some 50 yrs in the making)!!!...go check your own link on this one...pretty funny stuff!:...keep em comin!

PRINCETON, NJ -- According to the latest Gallup poll, conducted over this past weekend, 57% of Americans approve of the way George W. Bush is handling his job as president, while 25% disapprove and 18% have no opinion. The approval percentage is comparable to what Bill Clinton received in his initial rating -- 58% -- and somewhat higher than the 51% rating received by both George H.W. Bush in 1989 and Ronald Reagan in 1981, shortly after each assumed office for the first time. But the 25% disapproval that President George W. Bush receives is the highest initial disapproval that any president has received since Gallup began measuring approval over half a century ago, although just modestly higher than the 20% that Bill Clinton received shortly after he first took office. Bush’s disapproval is 19 points higher than what his father, George H.W. Bush, received in January, 1988.

The number of Americans who were "unsure" how to rate George W. Bush’s job performance is the lowest ever recorded, and considerably lower than that recorded for George H.W. Bush 12 years earlier. The great public attention paid to the Florida recount controversy may have stimulated stronger feelings about the current president than is normally the case, and could also partially account for the higher disapproval rating as well.

Just to repeat what the Gallup Polls indicated about our beloved Bill upon his finishing his term....

"Clinton, in fact, is finishing his term on a relatively high note. The latest job approval rating we have for him is 66% (December 15-17, 2000) and that is higher than any other president has had in December of his last year in office since FDR (Kennedy and Nixon, of course, did not have a December of an official final year, since both left office abruptly). The next highest rating in December of a president's last year in office was obtained by Ronald Reagan, who climbed back to 63% by December 1988, and Eisenhower, who had a rating of 59% in December 1960."
