There is no doubt that Bush has a lot of problem with the English Language. I suspect he has a mild disability of some sort. As to whether he is dumb, in my mind the jury is still out. He ran an effective campaign and has been making a lot of good moves. Gore has demonstrated his incompetence, by grasping defeat from the jaws of victory. The thing about Gore was that it was his own dumb remarks, stupid mistakes and failure to articulate a vision that lost the election. We can argue about who really won but that begs the question. He should have won going away. As a dem, I hope we have seen the last of Gore, Hillary and Bill. They have weakend the party tremendously. Little joe
