I use the bulls/bears to to construct a long term measure of sentiment.The last time we had truely bear market bottom readings was in 1994.In fact we had the same levels as in 1982 back then.

Heinz, During the quieter periods of draining today I read a few of the other boards. I know we say this sort of thing frequently, but it's just shocking what people say/think. The great number of posts imply an upward bias.

"Where do you see support for XYZ?"

"I think this is a great buy here."

"This is insane -- way overdone. I am getting some for LT hold."

and so on and so on.

Only tears, lamentations, and margin calls will eradicate this dangerous thinking.
