Sorry, Rob. I still can't find any mention of McKinley in the article, and most of the info on IBM Power4 is stuff that either I already know, or wild speculation (e.g.
Power4 running at 1.5 GHz when the current 7-stage PowerPC core can barely reach 733 MHz. Uh huh.)


Power 4 is a complete new design unrelated to PowerPC. I believe it has 14 or 15 stages and easily tops 1GHz.
