Very appropriate remark on your part :)

According to Intel's design guides, page 18,

the Rambus-based boards require at least two or more
iterations before committing to actual board builds.
So you can safely triple your estimates
for Rambus "technology".

Incidentally, I don't see Rambus contributing to
these "elegant" design guidelines.
