Somewhere on SI there is a post that dissects CSCO's balance sheet and shows that once you strip away all the accounting nonsense associated with acquisitions and stock options CSCO's real, actual earnings have been flat for 5 quarters now. Personally I try and stay clear of companies where there is a marked difference between revenue and earnings growth.

OT: You're overly pessimistic on CSCO and SUNW.

Actually, I've been waiting for CSCO to stumble to add to my position. I just don't agree that today is the day. SUNW is no CSCO and will see much more competition from the likes of IBM, Dell and Compaq.
