There has been little talk about BREW on this thread, which I think is relavent to us.

Khan, I didn't know what you were talking about when I first read your post. Today, Aloha Mike on the GSTRF thread posted a link to part of the Qualcomm site dedicated to BREW, from which I got this description:

"BREW: Binary Runtime Environment for Wireless -- The BREW platform allows developers to create applications that operate on all handsets with QUALCOMM CDMA chipsets. BREW sits between the chip system software and the application, making the phone's functionality available to the application without requiring the developer to have the chip system source code or even a direct relationship with a handset manufacturer."

It sure does sound relevant. I wish I could even guess how much of a competitor (if any?) to Palm OS this might be.
