It's not necessary lies, it's stupidity. I live with a tech associate from an unnamed bank and trust me he's not the brightest guy in the world when it comes to the market.

He bought CSCO at 82 and continued to buy on the way down saying it was undervalued at 50. He can't understand why he's losing money. He bought ICGE at 40 and made his last buy at 12, telling me, "how much lower can it go, it's down so much?"

He got a 150k bonus for 2000.

We are in truly sad times.

Excuse me for intervening here but bambs, you seem better fit for the Raging Bull environment rather than the SI boards. I haven't seen the likes of your kind around here as compared to the proliferation on RB.

With that said, it is purely a guess to acclaim the recession is just starting. Indeed we seem to be heading that way but I'm not sure with all the tools I have, one can predict what you just have. It sounds like "trash" to me but that's just what I'm seeing in your posts.

The p.e. on the NAZ is still quite high, to say the least, but the horses of the index have all corrected and to assume they will continue to shave 30-50% of their current values is quite remote.

Sabre!
