SI Members: This note is in response to many posts and PMs you have sent about the recent announcements made by InfoSpace regarding the corporate strategy and the actions that the company has and will take to realize this strategy. In particular the impact this has had on the SI team. Unfortunately I can’t get into the specifics of this. I can however answer one question that many of you have raised: Does InfoSpace plan to abandon, sell off or shut down SI? The answer is no, SI is an important part of InfoSpace and we are continuing to enhance the site and the underlying technologies. We will also continue to enforce the current TOU that keep SI a quality community. Clearly there is concern and frustration in the community. It would be very foolish to think a post from myself or the team would address this. All I can do is assure you that we plan to continue to enhance SI to support your community. Mike Coddington
