more robust functionality: "have never been parts of my job duties." ...could have sworn just moments ago you were bragging about your suggestion to mgt on moderated threads and the like and what it would take to make that happen...if your job was simply the SI police, that would get pretty petty and boring. My disconnect with you or anyone else who puts themselves out to be a "community" was the degree of heavy handed policing and censorship, especially on some of the more political threads, where many there thought that perhaps your suspensions had more to do with your political leanings than the offense itself. The world seems to exist in relative harmony without the degree of censorship we see on the SI boards. This ain't Cuba or Communist China, where the police show up at your door each time you curse, show disdain for the government or express a strong opinion. I also found it funny that the SI police had time to beat on folks for posts that might have been a bit left of center, while SI performance problems abounded. Always reminded me of the cop who gave a guy a ticket for going 5 miles over the speed limit while a rape was going down just 100 ft away from him! I said it to you some months ago on the George W thread, SI and this community will go down in flames if they don't start treating users like customers. At least these days you can't simply delete a post you disagree with or suspend me at will!...I take great pleasure in that!
