Dont you dare lump me in the same context with softechie. I am not a bear and certainly not "forcefully" negative on CSCO, but as Maverick pointed out the report stunk. What am I supposed to do, sugar coat everything by saying the bottom is now in?? You are right, nobody knows when the bottom is in but I have enough sense to consider all rationals including softechie's <though its hardly his own thoughts> that the techs are giving lower guidance forward and the market reacts accordingly. Thus, I am liberal enough to consider all arguements regarding tech stocks....and there will be days when holding "value" techs will be in vogue and days when not too. I wish you the very best in your investing as I do anybody. Jane
