Agree that This thread needs to refocus, with emphasis on sharing DD re stocks. Maybe start each post with ticker symbol and then info or DD on it. Like Jane said Yesterday, maybe then some oldtimers like Rock or William will pop in more often. Eating some chicken with black beans then off to the beach, cya.

So, when did SI allow non-subscribers to view profiles and past posts. SI is getting more like yahoo everyday, I already see SI becoming the step child of Infospace.

OMX seems to be recovering from a 52 wk low of 1.50. Closed today at 4.14.

Two of the reasons I like the stock and per the S&P Stock Report ---
1)"in-store computer department have been converted to Gateway stores, and Gateway is staffing these departments." plus
2.)"Internet sales grew dramatically in the first nine months of FY01, up 303% to $81.9 million"

Twice in the last 4 months I owned shares which I sold too soon. Currently I have no position, but will again after
-- I do more DD
-- I feel it will not pull back from the current run up
-- my current portfolio recovers from this weeks beating.

DRIV..Fav stock under $10. As software downloads become more popular(if u have cable or DSL u know how easy it is)this stock will come into its own. They also web host. New clients like SYMC will make DRIV a long term winner.

Oops - guess I should have read further before making my last post - sorry Rande. But I concur - time to move on.

As far as my spec tech - here is my list:

DITC - (ok, its 10 15/16 right now so just barely under $10)

Like everyone esle in the sector - has warned going forward. Been profitable, with a PE of around 8. Been basing at this level for a while

bigcharts.com

NMSS - ditto -

bigcharts.com

OAKT - ditto - a key player on the CD-RW controller market - won't likely see big upside til the PC sector improves

bigcharts.com

XDSL - very speculative based only on their technology

bigcharts.com

HLIT - more of the same - fell a lot earlier because of internal problems and ATT order delays. if ATT starts to ramp up cable ISP buildout - HLIT should benefit as they make the leading fiber product for that sector

bigcharts.com

IFCI - much the same story as many of the others mentioned

bigcharts.com

TERN - ditto

bigcharts.com

IBEM - pretty speculative based on their technology

bigcharts.com

INSP - Got in yesterday for a rebound play

bigcharts.com

Naveen Jain may be a hypester as some claim - but he is a far better person to lead than Horowitz and the other bums they just threw out

Some of these may not move right away, but I think many can be doubles by late this year. That said, if they move short term, I could sell the pop - like I have on many others already earlier in January. (Actually some of these I am on my 2nd trip - like TERN, IBEM, HLIT - where I took profits after a run-up in January - and then relaoded recently).

Appreciate hearing anyone else's thoughts on any of these
