Well said, Toby. I still come back every now and then hoping that this thread has set itself back on the tracks, but the train still lies on its side. Ted and the others have long since left this thread, their attempt at defending CNBC's policies choked in a hail of flying stones.

Constructive criticism "has left the building".

As to your points,

>CNBC -- critique used to be a great thread for broad-based commentary about the personalities on CNBC and the commercials (often noteworthy, bring back 'Stuart').<

I invite you to add your "greatness" to the thread if you have any. A great thread is created by "great" people. Step up to the plate.

As far as bring back Stuart thing, I'm sure all the layed off workers at Ameritrade wish they would bring back Stuart.

Stuart has already played and even being the optimist I am,I dont think Stuart will play again.

>Now we get a one-person monologue of someone standing in front of a one-way mirror thinking there's someone paying attention to him on the other side.<

I have been amazed at the response I have recieved from CNBC.

Obviously you are paying attention, and it looks like we even got Ted David to come out of the woodwork.

As the old saying goes, lead, follow or get out of the way.

Regards,

S
