There are theories as to why black people had a harder time with Votomatics than white people - lower literacy rate, more first time voters who were unfamiliar with the machines, maybe more old people without eyeglasses. Gore's Get-Out-The-Vote campaign mobilized a lot of people to vote who had never voted before - the precincts were swamped.

Funniest thing I have seen in the past few weeks is The Most Reverend Hypocrite Jackson telling the press two days after his love child and coverup are exposed that he'll be keeping a close eye on the "moral tone" on the Bush Administration.
