Long term to me is a few weeks it seems. I have to try to change that.

The only stock that I own more than 6 months without selling is unfortunately GSTRF...
Everything else has been churned and traded on and off for the last 10 months or so...

I've done a lot of trading. Sometimes I've done great where other times I've done poorly.
Regardless, trading hasn't helped me turn a profit this year.
I would have been better out of the market or in old economy stocks...
(I am glad that I didn't hold the tech favorites that I originally had. I'd really be in bad shape...)

I guess I've learned a lot, this year.
I know a lot about trading. Getting much better at reading charts. I just haven't shown the patience and discipline that a trader needs.
I miss a lot of gains by not waiting long enough and sell too often on steep sell offs.
I'm still trying to find a system that works for me.

I'm certain that I would do much better if I only traded at the extreme market conditions of oversold and over bought but I always seem to get sucked back in during the hazy middle periods...

It's so hard for me to just sit back and watch...
I have to work harder at that.
